Hello thanx for using hcm,

Sir, diet and exercise plays a major role in controlling blood sugars.you can first try with controlling diet and regular exercise and then follow up with diabetologist to start the right medicine.

Things you should do

consume low carbohydrate ,low fat diet.carbohydrates sources are cereals and pulses , fruits, milk and products, juices which have highest impact on blood sugars.

Eat whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, oats, whole wheat macroni, quinoa , consume right portion size refer carbohydrate counting.Dont consume large quantities ,avoiding refined easy to digest cereals.

Consume small meals rather than 3 big meals.

Avoid juices, carbonated beverages ,sweetened drinks ,starches like potaoes, yams.

Always include lots of vegetables in the form of salad and healthy proteins like egg, chicken without skin, lean meats, fish ,nuts each in your meals as they provides you feeling of fullness and gives satiety.

Lastly go for exercise daily 45 minutes a day.Brisk walk is ideal.
