Hi, welcome to HCM, Vitiligo is very difficult to treat as its etiology is not known. Treatment response varies from man to man. Your specialist has prescribed Mometasone cream (Elocon) which is first line of treatment and many patient respond with this drug only. In my clinic I used to prescribe combination therapy of fluocinolone, tacrolimus, placentrex, oral mini pulse and oral and topical PUVA, and the response is very good in most of the patients. Hope this will help you. Thanks
