Hello Doctor,
I was previously diagnosed with Wegener's Disease by the Mayo Clinic, I lived and worked in Rochester, MN. Mayo has always been my health care provider. They found a perforation from all the sinus infections I have had in the last three years. They inserted a "button" to help defray the crusting. They were certain I had Wegener's. In the meantime, it was discovered by my dentist that I had an abcessed tooth. All my levels went back to normal. They dismissed Wegener's. In the interim, I have moved to Florida, and am still having severe nasal crusting. I literally have to pull out the crusts with a hemostat. I do my nasal rinses religiously but it goes on and on. And I still get infections. Do you have any idea what is wrong with me? I would really appreciate some input here. Thank you so much.
