Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I a so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. Drugs rarely cause allergic reaction son first consumption because the body doesn't know it. It is only with subsequent intake that the body mounts a reaction against it. I will recommend you talk to your doctor about this and get a substitute antibiotics for this. There are many drugs that can be safely used in the place of Bactrim. Always report this reaction to your doctor as well in future for precautions to be taken when you are being prescribed antibiotics.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be and I will gladly respond to.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. The most common cause of weight gain while on thyroid medications is probably caused by an undertreated thyroid disease. Cramps are often cause by excess fluid retention that exert too much pressure on nerves. I will suggest that you get your drug dosages evaluated and possibly do a TSH to see what adjustments are needed if any. Should there be no worries about this, then other causes of weight gain should be investigated. Do you have some other symptoms like excessive cold feeling, constipation, dry skin, etc?

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be and I will gladly respond to.
