What Is The Treatment Of Abdominal Cramps In Children ?

My 3 year old has woken with abdominal cramps several times over the last week. This started when in Ibiza on holiday.Symptoms are relieved with food, He is generally ok during the day.Wasn't eating that much whilst on holiday and I thought this may be the problem.

It's a common problem in children. Is there associated diarrhea or vomiting?
Give him syrup colicaid 1 tsf twice daily for 2-3 days and observe. It will subside. If not relieved then get a pediatrician opinion.
