My 9 month old twins just had a bout of the Coxsackie virus. They have been fine for about a week, then this morning I went to change their diapers and they have the bug-bite looking rash again! Can this virus keep recurring? Could it be something else?
coxsackie viras infection found below 5 year child, and in most cases it recovered it self in 2-3 days without any alarming symptoms. in rest cases it cause flue like symptoms.. and subsides. rarely it create major problems.
rash is not due to this virus. and chance of recurring the infection is very rare, as body is immunized to the virus.
