Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am early 40s healthy female and have been having lower left back that is quite chronic....on and off the past 2 months. Chiro and massage may make it better for a few days and then it can come back. I have been sitting at the computer for longer periods of time here and there but not every day, all day. I also run 1-2x a week like I have most of my life. Have tried stretching and muscle tension topical treatments but those don't work either. The only other thing I can think of is it may be tied to my period.....was really bad the past few days and then I got my period today. Never had cramps like this in the past. Have had 2 c-sections, last one 5 years ago. Should I see an orthopedic doctor or start with my OB/GYN? someone recommended an MRI for disc issues.
