What Is The Treatment To Get Rid Of White Patches Around Steroid Injection Site On The Hand?

Hi, I took steroids injection on my rith hand wrist area because of pain in tendent. The pain was totally intolerable then. But after I took that injection, I could see white patch on that area after a couple of months... And now I am experiencing these white patches all over the body... Is it related to that injection only or is it something else.. What treatment should I take to get rid of those patches?

Hi,

After steroid injection in wrist you developed depigmented patch called leucoderma...a side effect of steroid. And the white patches .. vitiligo developed due to unknown reason. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend psoralen tablets and cream for vitiligo. Long term treatment and follow ups are needed.
