What Is The Use Of Metpure XL 50 Tablets?
My age is 57.Height is 5.2 .Weight is 57 kg. Except 150-170/ 80-90 BP in the mornings at 0600h, no other complaint. Metpure XL 50mg prescribed at 2000h, being used for past one month. BP is 150/70. Now sleep is highly disturbed, gas, acidity and stomach upset.

Hi well come to HCM.
Metpure XL 50 contains metoprolol 50mg in extended release form.It is non gastric
irritant, It has no effect on sleep even. So your trouble seems to be due to some other
reason. still if you have strong doubt there are many other options like Amlodipine,
losartan, telmisartan etc which can be replaced in place of Metpure Xl.If you are
prescribed with some thining drug like aspirin, which is commonly prescribed in HBP.
