What Is Used In Overnight Rapid Detox Method, And Is It Different From 1-2 Hour Detox With Anesthesia?

I have heard that the original rapid detox method was having patients experience the blockage of the pain receptors and therefore left them in a difficult situation when they had ongoing existing pain. 1) Do you know what was used in the overnight rapid detox method, and is it different than the 1-2 hour detox with anathesia? 2) Have there been studies to examine the effect of chronic pain patients on long term pain medications about what happens in the brain as to the normal pain relief that prior to pain medication was generated by the brain and then is shut off with the use of long -term pain medications? Does the brain ever have the ability to restore that ability or is that one of the chemical alterations that the brain undergoes from long-term physical dependency on narcotic pain medications. This is different from the mental withdraw issue. This is asking about the physiological aspect of the brain alteration and functioning.
