What Is Your Opinion About Surgery For Persistent, Painful Pilonidal Sinus?

i m having d pilonidal sinas pain f0r last 1 & half yr...
i hd consulted allopethy, bt it did'nt workd.
In july, i got severe pain for 4 days. the area ws totally red, finally i consulted an ayurvedik doctor.
he treated me for around 2 months. He inserted a thread in to d cyst & changed it aftr every 7 days.
still it did'nt worked & finally he insisted me a surgery..
so what to do??
i alredy had 1 surgery for cochy's elbow, 2 my left hand & nw agn i don't want to do surgery...
please help

hello,
according to my opinion pilonidal sinus is purely surgical issue and its treatment is by surgery, there is even chance of recurrence after surgery please discuss with your surgeon for further plan of management. thank you.
