What Kind Of Cancerous Tumor Can Grow In The Face And Metastasize To The Jaw?
I was just diagnosed with a cancer in my face, being a worry wart, My doctor told me I had a tumor of some sort @ it s probably going too spread.He did tell me what kind it was but I started too come unglued and forgot the word for it,and my wife s like what kind is it and all I can say is I forgot that it was a tumor and it s spreading around my face and jaw. All I ask is what kind is it please

It may be a difficult situation to hear the word cancer or tumor and that is when the remaining part of many doctor's conversations are forgotten. The tumor you have on the face was suspected to be cancerous and your doctor said it may spread. However it is difficult to predict from this information which type of cancer it is without knowing the pathology report.
Did you consulting doctor take a piece out of it and examine it? That is called a biopsy. If yes then the pathology report of the biopsy will tell the exact kind of tumor it is. There are many kinds of cancers which may grow over the face and spread like Squamous carcinoma, Basa cell carcinoma, Melanoma etc. But to tell the exact type it is best to see your doctor again and confirm.
