Hi
Im dr.hema physiotherapist
From my side as a routine I need information about following points.
1.age and sex
2.type, duration of pain.
3.any other illness or history of trauma
4.are you having back ache.
If pain is less and no other illness, it may be due to tightness of gluteal or piriformis.u can start simple stretching hip exercises that z
Start with full range exercises to hip (move your leg front, back, side in standing and lying)and knee(sit on chair relax just fold and straighten the knee joint)
Then stretch gluteal (knee chest position -lying on ur back, or standing)
Piriformis stretching (cross leg knee chest in lying)
Hamstring stretching(stand- place ur straight leg on chair)
Calf stretch
Before starting exercise u can take hot water fermentation for 15 to 20 min for pain reduction.
If u feel pain is not reducing or aggravated please have an orthopedic appointment for direct evaluation and assessment.
If you feel u have more pain u should avoid vigorous exercises.
Once u r free from pain start with strengthening exercises.
Hope the information z useful.
In doubt do reply.
