General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Till the ulcer heals with the therapy and confirmed by upper GI endoscopy, certain dietary precautions are mandatory to proceed as
- prefer a bland, vegan diet
- organic fresh fruits allowable
- plenty of liquids
- avoidance of all sorts of dairy fat, junk foods, eggs, cheese, butter, spices, non-veg etc.
- aerated drinks also not advisable
* Over and above all abstinence from alcohol and smoking are prime to be remembered.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
