What Leads To Abnormal EMG Test Result Along With Body Pain, fatigue And Night Sweats?

I have wide spread pain, extreme fatigue. I have had an EMG done it came back abnormal. For what the doctor didn t say. I have spinal lesions on C2, T5, T8 but none on the brain. I have night sweats. I am usually cold my hands and feet stay cold and sweaty, but at night my body radiates heat! I need to know what could be the cause? I was tested for fibromyalgia - negative, Lyme disease- negative. I m still in constant pain!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Do acid fast stain [rule out LEP and TB]. Do you have a history of trauma? It is neuropathy. Its exact cause needs investigations. It may be infectious, diabetic, alcoholic. One thing is biopsy of lesion if possible to make a diagnosis. I hope you already are taking analgesics for pain. Do CST therapy along with analgesic, it will help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
