What Leads To Aggressiveness And Anger While Taking Cymbalta For Fibromyalgia?

My wife s doctor is treating her for fibromyalgia. He has her on 90 mg. of cymbalta plus varying dosages of amitriptaline. She has been showing symptoms of hostility and aggression to her friends (and me) to point of being removed from groups she s been a part of. She is also having periods of short-term memory loss. She regularly has about two drinks per evening and occasionally a glass of wine on top of that. She gets extremely angry with me when I raise concerns. How can I bring this up with her doctor so he will remain confidential with me. If he tells her, I think the results would be disastrous.

Hi,

There are CBT and OBT therapies available but you have to consult a psychologist (Relaxation training, guided imagery etc.) It can be changed to Pregabalin (it does not have agitation etc., but have other effects).

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
