Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm guessing my husband is hyper active. He is quick to anger and frustation. In his younger years he was not satisfied with jobs and would go from one to another. At this point he has settled on security work, but if he get mad at the bosses' because he thinks they are withholding jobs he will seek another company. A person may make an innocent remark and he will take it personally and sometimes we have changed churches, then he has changed jobs and we have lost friends. He will say something very inappropiate ( can't find spell check) and say he was joking. I tell him he has to apologise and usually he won't.
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. The symptoms like hyperactivities, anger outbursts, frustration, no satisfaction with jobs and multiple job changes, yelling at bosses, poor tolerance to even healthy remarks, saying bad things with no guilt etc suggest some mental disorder and need proper evaluation by a psychiatrist. These symptoms suggest some mood disorder possibility mania, but mood disorders usually occur in episodes and periods of normalcy are seen in-between episodes. Other possible explanation for his symptoms is some personality disorder. Individuals with Narcissistic Personality may show such symptoms and they would never admit their mistakes. They usually find faults in others and never maintain good relationships with others. Please don't ignore his symptoms and visit a psychiatrist for his evaluation and for diagnosis.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
