What Leads To Burning Sensation At Back Of Legs While Sitting?
Hello, for the past 3 years I have been dealing with burning on the back of my legs when sitting. Doctors haven t been able to give me a proper diagnose and don t see any injuries to my spinal discs. I do notice hip bursitis when experiencing this burning pain. What could be causing this burning pain? Could it be bursitis and why only when sitting?
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you are having nerve pain and it is causing burning and numbness. there are multiple causing of this.
The main would be bursitis, vitamin b12 deficiency and nerve sheath inflammation. You might need pregabalins to sooth this pain and get vitamin b12 levels checked.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
