I'm concerned about my son. He is 19 y/o in great health I believed until 2 weeks ago. Took him to the ER after he was complaining of abdominal pain and I noticed a tinge of yellow in his eyes. He was admitted with hyperbilirubenemia and elevated monocytes. His appetite is great but he seems to be losing weight and he appears pale. Abdominal pain is minimal now and his bowel movements are normal. No other symptoms.
