What Leads To Red Bruise On Arm Caused After A Injury?

hi,when i bump my arm or scratch on a bush when weeding I don t get black and blue I get a very red bruise. I tried to look this up and comuter says it could be form cumiden, but I do not take any medications..this looks awfuland lasts a lot longer than a black and blue mark don t understand why tis happens, wondering if I could have a vitamin deficency
