Hello,

Your wife is suffering from vomiting after having lunch from outside. She is vomiting due to food allergy / intolerance. Since you have given her antiemetic, she should stop vomiting. Give her little time to relax. Her blood pressure might be low and after vomiting her blood sugar level might have gone low because of which she is feeling cold.

After she has rested and is relaxed, you can give her ORS. Give her water, fluid and soup so that her blood electrolyte level normalizes and she will start feeling better. You can give her some crackers or toast with red tea. But do not force her to take it. You can give her antacids to stop the formation of gas.

You should check her blood pressure, if it is low even after ORS and fluid intake and if she is too sleepy, you are suggested to get her clinically examined in ER, may be she will need some intravenous infusion of saline and other medical treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Vomiting and a rise in body temperature after eating could be due to several reasons, such as food poisoning, a viral or bacterial infection, or an allergic reaction. It is essential to keep the body hydrated in such situations as the body loses fluids through vomiting. ORS (oral rehydration solution) can be given to replace lost fluids and electrolytes.

Since your wife has already taken Ondem, which is an antiemetic medication, she may feel better after some time. If she is feeling cold, it is advisable to cover her with a blanket and keep her warm. You can also give her paracetamol if she has a fever or body aches.

If her condition does not improve or if she develops other symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, blood in vomit, or difficulty breathing, it is important to seek medical attention immediately.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
