What Leads To Vomiting Blood After Physical Work?

It seems to happen after lifting or doing strenuous things my friend which is male and doesn t seem to have any ulcers starts throwing up blood. What would be causing this to happen. Am very worried if you could give me any clues to what could be causing this to happen, would be very beneficial thank you

hello,
1) what is amount of blood, frequency of vomiting? Was there abdominal pain? has he habit of alcohol consumption?
2) blood in vomiting has many causes and it depend in color of blood in vomiting. Frank red colored blood in vomiting indicates lesion in esophagus. Dark brown colored blood indicate lesion in stomach or first part of small intestine.
3) He need to be evaluated with upper Gi Endoscopy to confirm diagnosis and also to check hemoglobin level to check amount of blood loss.
