What Levels Of Sperm Count And Motility Cause Infertility?
Dear SIr... Good Day ... i am happy and proud that we have a doctor like you in our country i live in Saudi Arabia married since 2 year but still not blessed with a child ...i went through sperm analysis test My sperm count is 50 million/ml with progressive motile is 45 %..... is this a infertility parameters as me and my wife are trying for child since 2 years but always a bad luck
The semen results mentioned are okay, the count is considered normal if it is greater than 20 million/ml and the motility is also normal as well.
The other important part of the result would be morphology which would have looked at the appearance of the sperm to see if they look normal. This result is not stated but if the report states that more than 30 % are normal, this would be fine.
Your wife would need to be assessed as well with blood tests and imaging of the uterus, tubes and ovaries.
I hope this helps
