What Medical Problems Does Extra Ribs Pose?
I am currently waiting on my xray results to come back but what I and my doctor originally thought was a fatty tumor under my ribs on the right side may turn out to be an extra rib. I have a similar mass on my left side. What are the results of having extra ribs and having them so close to my intestines? Could this be why I have such strong lower back pains?
