What Medication Is Suggested For Bump Caused Due To Insect Bite ?

I just woke with a very sore bump on my head. A huge insect that looked like a big red mosquito was flying around my daughter's head and I shooed it away. I think maybe it got me instead. I have seen 2 of those this week. The bump is getting biggr but I am not really sure what it is from. Any ideas?

Hello,
Thank you for the query with HCM,
The sore bump on your head my be due to several reasons but as you have noticed the big mosquito flying around you might have bitten you.
It may be due to other reasons also like minor unnoticed injury, infection through your comb it may be due to other insect bite also.
For your bump i would have suggested you to apply some cold pack on that it may come down.
After that if it is Still persisting you may have to take some medicine like anti histaminics and analgesics you can take these drugs only after consulting your doctor.
