What Medication Needs To Be Followed For Quadriceps Spasm?

Hi -- I am in the midst of a mercury detox regime which was started in 2010. About 9 months after starting I experienced severe quadriceps spasm that came on after a couple of hours of sleep at night. Abductor and adductor muscles also seemed involved. I started on a trace mineral supplement and they seemed to disappear. This last week I ve again started having the spasms, even aware of the potential of spasm during the day. I take about 1200 mg of calcium and 800 mg magnesium in addition to the trace mins. No other muscles or muscle groups are involved in spasm or painful. I take Losarten, Armour Thyroid, minocycline for Rosesa and Metanex for MTHFR mutation. All of my labs have been normal. I don t seem to be having pain with exercise or decrease in strength. Any suggestions?

Hi
I think as all your lab are normal and you take calcium thats good.
Now you along with your other medicines you should start drug name myoril 4mg which contains thiocholchicoside which act as a muscle relaxant and it gives good results in muscle spasm.
If needed you can increase your dose to 8mg if needed.
