Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi there
children at this age often develop loose stools due to top feeds, putting objects in mouth(as in teething), giving unboiled water for drinking or use of bottle feeding.
watery motions risk dehydration. watch for danger signs like reduced urine, lethargy, sleepiness etc which may require emergency management for dehydration.
Infants are at increased risk, so its better to show the child to a doctor, to understand dehydration. some info may be gathered from www.rehydrate.org
Bifilac is ok, but what is important is to get stool tested for routine and culture , that may help decide what medicines to follow.
OFten loose motions take 3 days to show some response. preventing dehydration is crucial and life saving.
