I am 50 years. My hair has started thinning. My dermatologist prescribed me to use TUGAIN 2% with Tablet Triohoton Forte to control hair fall. I am diabetic and my haemoglobin % is 7-8%. I am using metformin 1000 MG with Glimet 1 MG. Please suggest me. Can the hair fall be controlled.
I can understand your concern for hair loss at the age of 50 years.
It can be due to any long term illness or any emotional or stressful event and due to nutritional deficiency.
I can see that your hemoglobin is quite less and you suffering from moderate anemia which I consider to be most important cause.
If I were your dermatologist then would have prescribed you tablet containing Acetylcysteine, Calcium Pantothenate, Selenium, Zinc, Biotin, Copper as active ingredients. You can take these vitamins in the form of biotin, calicium pantothenate and other vitamin B complexes.
Additionally increase you protein intake on daily basis and eat sprouts. Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and sprouts which contains vitamins and minerals necessary for normal hair function.
You must get your anemia treated by best of iron supplementation or by medical management under a physician.
