What Might A Doctor Do If Old Woman Presents With Normal Oxygenation, Shortness Of Breath, Diaphoresis?
Dear sir All the findings suggestive of COPD or Bronchial asthma. Diaphoresis - Will increase due to increased respiratory effort The mild left ventricular hypertrophy - It will be due to increased pulmonary hypertension. Oxygen saturation - Decreased. Loop diuretics along with potassium sparing diuretics is adviced to control fluid accumulation and decrease left ventricular hypertrophy. Thanks
