What Might Be The Dent On The Forehead After A Fall?
My almost 2 yr old som fell. He had a candle in his hand and fell with it. His forhead hit the eldge of the candle when he fell to the floor. This happened on the 4th of Feb. Now I notice that there is a dent in his fordead and a little pea sized bump jsut above the dent. I wonder if the bone chipped and thats whats above of the dent? Will the dent go away? Should the little bump be taken out if its a piece of bone?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, the dent appears to be due to the hit, and the bump, may be due to the accumulation of the discharge from the surrounding tissues. There is no need to remove either the bone or any thing from that place. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, paracetamol, and vitamin C,for relief of pain and swelling. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
