Vaginal bleeding and hematoma is quite common in first trimester. You have been started on the right medications . Try to take these medicines at around the same time everyday. As long as you do not have heavy bleeding or pain you need not worry. Take adequate rest. Avoid strenuous activities and intercourse.
You will be doing an routine ultrasound at around 13 weeks, so that will help in reassuring the wellbeing of the baby as well as the status of the hematoma. Mostly the hematoma resolves in 10 to 14 days. Even if it is persisting as long as it is not expanding in volume and size you need not worry. If you have any genitourinary symptoms like discharge, pruritis, dysuria screen and get treated (for UTI, vaginitis).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
