What Other Than Cold Compress Can Be Used On A Swollen And Bruised Eye Caused Due To Fall?

Hi My 5 year old son fell off the climber today and hit his eye, right on the eye brow area, it is now swollen and bruised, his eye is swollen and is not open the whole way. He is otherwise fine, is there anything I need to do other than cold compress?

Hello
It seems from the history that your 5 year old son fell off injuring his eye following this his eye is swollen.
The treatment is by using anti-inflammatory drugs to relieve edema. Application of cold compress will help by preventing further bleeding thus helping in fast resolution of the symptoms.
At the same time he needs to be examined by eye doctor to rule out any injury to the ocular structures.

Thank you
