What Pain And Swelling In Right Heel While Suffering From Severe Arthritis?
My husband has severe arthritis problems and his right heel is extremely painful, also his small toe and second toe are very swollen and bluish in colour. His painkillers dont have much effect. Can you help? Thank you, Clare Connolly, YYYY@YYYY

Arthritis can be difficult to treat. Medications and physiotherapy would be the mainstay of treatment.
His doctor can prescribe pain killers for him and link him to a therapist.
If the oral pain medication (he can be tried on a variety) is not enough then the option for injections exist.
