What Precautions Are To Be Taken By My Father Who Received A Major Heart Attack? What Is The Lifespan Of These Stents?
Hi... two days back my father recieved a mahor heartattack... he was immediately rushed to a hospital. Reasons given were that his two arteries were blocked completely. As a cure, he went through angioplasty. He has diabetes( sugar levels are fasting-83, nonfasting-193). Please advise what precaution we must take to ensure he don't suffer with all of this in future. Also, what is the life of these stents

I really appreciate your concern for your father, now the most important is he has to live rest of his life without stress, anxiety, and depression, he has to change his life style form grass rooted level and should be on regular medicine and simple diet, if he will follow this instruction then it will be al right, the stent can be last long say life time, take care of your father have nice day.
