Hi

I am not sure where you have got this information because from the literature prednisone and other steroids are not usually producing photosensitive skin reactions.

Rather steroid creams are used in treating patients who develop skin reactions due to exposure to sunlight when on certain other medication.

Since you are taking steroids for only a short period , you should not be worrying too much about the many side effects steroids can potentially cause.

Hope this helps.
