What Precautions Should I Take For Red Balls On Skin Along With Body Pain After Fever?

Hi I am a 43 year old woman. I have red balls developed on the skin which are painful but no itching. I got them after I had a feaver for only one day with all the body pains which lasted for almost more than a month now.first I got one ball on the left shin and later three more. and after the pain is reduced I got the same way on my right leg and below the shoulder and ellbow.Kindly advise what precaution should i take. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern.
I think you have got a viral infection called herpes zoster. I would advise you to go to your dermatologist as soon as possible to get a full course of antiviral like acyclovir for 5 days prescribed. Its best to start anti virals within 72 hours of onset of symptoms to minimize the complications.

Meanwhile take oral anti inflammatory like ibuprofen for relief of pain.
