What Precautions Should Be Taken By A Person With Diabetic Nephropathy?

hi, this is kartik I am 32 yrs old i am 5.ft 9 inchs in ht weigh 107 kgs Have been a type 1 dibetic for past 15 yrs past 2 years have been bad as my hBA1c has been 8.3 Recently with new meds and changed insulin levels have a better hb1cie of 7.4 my bloodpreesure is 135/100 current meds are human mixtard 50/50 doses are 40 units pre breakfast 30 units pre lunch and 25 units pre dinner. plus meds for diabetes and bp are Metadosa 850 1 tab in the morn and 2 tabs in the eve. Tricinod 10, Lipaglyn . in the eve cinod t . recently my reports are showing mild protein traces and microalbumin of 37 . am i having diabetic nephropathy and wat are the precautions to be taken.

You should have a regular check up from your treating physician. Try to control your blood sugar levels.. Consult your doctor regarding starting ACE - I. do regular exercise and maintain good diet.
