Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

She has to complete the full course of treatment for Tuberculosis. For rheumatoid arthritis, she does not have to take anything else because tubercular drugs are very powerful and act on the disease process. She will get better if she takes a full course without fail.

Since her sputum is negative, you do not need to worry and go ahead with the process. I being a doctor is also fought with tuberculosis and survived.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
