What Precautions Should Be Taken To Limit The Discoloration And Pain In Fingers?

My daughter(13) just got her hand caught in an electronically opened car door = pinkie, ring and middle fingers between the first knuckle and the nails. Already the ring finger nail is blackening. She is screaming in pain. I have her on ice. Is there anything else to be done for her?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your daughters pain and discoloration of the fingers following a struck by an electronic car I am suggesting she has developed a hemorrhage inside the nail bed of her fingers
In view of this keep applying the ice pack though it will take sometime for the blood clot to disappear
Give her some syrup analgesic for the pain
I hope this helps
