What Precautions Should Be Taken While Suffering From Yellow Fever?
Hypothetical question: If I come back from, say, south America for a trip and I find out that I have yellow fever, would I have to be quarantined or anything? could I be around friends and family without spreading the disease? Could I stay at home or would I have to be hospitalized? It s not that I have yellow fever, a couple friends and I are doing a project on a certain disease, and we chose yellow fever. Thank you SOOOOO much for your help!

Based on your question I think you should know that if you have some symptoms of yellow fever you must meet a doctor as soon as possible to evaluate your situation and hospitalized.
You cannot infect your friends in direct contact. But through mosquitoes bites, if you have contact with mosquitos during the acute infection of yellow fever.
