What Quantity Of Docusate Is Safe As A Pain Killer While Suffering From Constipation?

Hello. I am currently taking 100mg of Doc-Q-Lace. It doesn t seem to be helping enough. I still have to strain more than I would like when having a bowel movement. I am taking it because I am on pain maintenance program and he painkiller have me constipated. I have been taking them for 3 days and would like to know if it is safe to move up to 200mg at bedtime. I haven t been able to get in touch with my doctor yet.

Yes, you can increase the dose to 200 mg at bedtime. This is within the safe limit of docusate.
