What Ranges Of Blood Sugar Levels Are Considered Normal?

I don t think I have diabetes, but my eye doctor is concerned because my vision has changed quite a bit over the past few months. (for the better) My fasting blood sugar was 97 this am and 1.5 hours after eating an egg, refried beans and plantain it is 158. Are these within the normal range?

your fasting is in normal range.
your post prandial show that you are in pre diabetic range means that there is a risk for you to develope type 2 diabetis mellitus in future.

so it will be better for you to bring some lifestyle modification:
1.every day do some yoga
2.go for brisk walking atleast 5 days in a weak for 30 minutes
3.don't eat fastfoods
4.don't eat to much of oily spicy food
5.try to lead a stress free life( meditation)
IN FUTURE iF YOU DO ANY TEST FOR BLoOD SUGAR THEN DO HB1AC TEST IT'S GIVE MUCH ACCURATE RESULT FOR DIAGNOSIS.
