What Seasonal Or Food Allergies Could Be Causing Pain And Tightness In The Knuckles?
What seasonal or food allergies that could be causing pain and tightness in the knuckles? It s difficult all of a sudden to type on a keyboard or hold on to a golf club tightly. A blood test was negative for RA and the Dr. thought allergies could be a possible cause. Thank you.

Hello, Welcome to HCM, As your RA factor is negative it is good sign you are not having rheumatoid arthritis. The symptoms pain and tightness in the knuckle which are giving are very non specific for allergy. Physical examination should be done to rule out any injury to the bone, nerve, muscle and ligaments. After that we can suspect any other cause leading to this. You require opinion of the expert to collect further history and examination. Thank you.
