What Should I Do As I Am Having Continuous Bleeding For 5 Weeks?
I am in the perimenopause stage, age 51, no kids, never smoked or drank alcohol - very clean living with excellent diet, have always been slim. I had no period for 4 months when whoosh a period that wont stop... coming up for week number 5 of bleeding. Bleeding isn't majorly heavy but its showing no sign of stopping. What should I do?
Hi. You should go for a gyne check up and get a scan done to see the cause of this heavy bleeding. It is abnormal uterine bleeding which may be due to hormonal imbalance or endometrial hyperplasia occuring or some other reason. For the time being, you may take some haemostatics like Tranexamic acid. Thanks.
