What Should I Do For The Excruciating Pain In The Left Hip To The Back Of The Leg And Also Has Herpes Shingles?

I am 62 years old and a recovering crack addict I used from 83-98 off and on mostly on. I have arhritis in my knees and my neck . I was diagnosed at Clement J Zablocki Veterans Medical Center in 05. My problem today is that I am in excruciating pain in my left hip and it runs down the back of my leg. I should also mention that I have herpes shingles which you already know is quite painful. This occurred in March of 13 and lasted a few days. This time it is a lot worse to the point of not being able to sleep at night.
