What Should I Do To Heal Tragus Piercing And To Get Rid Of Pain?

I have my tragus piercing 8 days before and now I fell extreme pain in my tragus and feel redness too I am cleaning it with saline water and use only coconut oil ? What should I do to heal it and to get rid of pain ? Can I use polyfax for quick recovery or it will further damage my tragus ?

Take care of the piercing, do not let it get infected. Tragus has fewer nerves as compared to the other areas of the ears. Be careful when you sleep, do not let pressure hurt the piercing. Tragus piercing may take 3-6 months to heal but, in some individuals, it may take a year.

Avoid using alcohol-based cleaners while cleaning, do not use scented creams and lotions, don't touch the piercings, do not remove and be gentle with the jewelry worn. Do not touch, do not scratch. Be careful with your hair and take care of your hygiene. If infected apply antibacterial cream after cleaning. Analgesics or pain-relieving medicines get rid of pain and inflammation. take a course of antibiotics, if the swelling does not get reduce after clinical examination.
