What Should I Do To Keep My PSA Levels Down?

I have prostate cancer and my doctor has been giving me Zoladex injections every three months to maintain my psa levels at a low level. My blood work today showed my psa level a bit over 2. In your opinion do I need another injection or can I let my body rest for another three months

Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have cancer of the prostate and is under chemotherapy(Zoladex) every three months.

Your recent PSA levels are 2 ng which is within normal levels and you do not need any another injection immediately.

Please continue Doladex as scheduled after three months.
