I just hit th back of my head from falling and whacking it on a metal bedframe. This happed about half an hour ago at around 1 0 pm? I m at college, living alone and the health center doesn t open till tomorrow 10 a.m. I really wish to go to sleep now since I need to get up early tomorrow morning, but should I stay up for a few more hours or something?
if u have no neurological problem ,no vomiting , no unconsciousness, no weakness ,no loss of coarse and fine activity of your body parts, u don't need to be panic. U can visit health center as per your convenience, besides this there is chance of collection of blood clot inside your brain which may be asymptomatic for long time , there may be injury in your soft tissues for which analgesic (nsaid) and hot compress is sufficient orinjury of bone of your head that may heal with time. maybe your doctor advice u for C T
Hi.This is Dr Muneeb Ali. I am here to help you regarding this problem. i am very sorry to hear about the incident. if you had severe headache, nausea, vomiting, episodes of seizures etc then you should go to emergency department otherwise just get an analgesic like acetaminophen and have a sound sleep .
