Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can very well understand the concern for your son..
As per your query wasp sting mostly causes a localized
allergic reaction at the site where the sting is pricked and the allergic reaction is caused due to the poisonous chemical released from the wasp stinger below the skin..
If your son does not have any signs of allergic reaction specifically at the site of sting prick you need not to worry as there can be chance of mild allergic reaction which has been subsided by now..
If he is completely healthy with no signs of any
allergy ( like rashes, itching etc) or infection (like
fever) you need not to worry and no more treatment is required..
You can continue icing the spot and also give another dose of
benadryl for complete resolution..
Hope this information helps .
Thanks and regards.
