What Should Be Done After Ingestion Of Liquid Cleaner?
My wife tried to drink floor cleaner after a small fight. Though she spat most of it, a little might still have gone inside. I have made her vomitt couple of times and she says there is no pain. What should i do. Should i rush her to a hospital or can i wait till tomorrow morning.

hi floor cleaners are usually acidic added with detergents in composition. until she has no burning or vomiting sensation not to worry. you can give her antacids like gelusil about 10--15 ml, thrice daily, added with proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole. taking her to the ER IS BETTER OPTION,if required an opinion with the gastro-enterologist for an endoscopy( upper gastro-intestinal). she requires a good psychiatry counselling. all the best take care.
HI Well come to HCM How much cleaner ingested is not clear and ideally in such case gastric lavage is must because this can not be taken lightly or neglected, better to go to ER this would help a lot, one can not take any risk, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
